Event Server

Servers are responsible for the proper set up and take down of events, assisting with food and beverage service, and ensuring that each guests' needs are attended to. The servers’ duties can vary greatly depending on each individual event booked. Candidates must be detail oriented, friendly, and have the ability to stand for long periods of time. Weekend availability is required. Events include indoor and outdoor concerts, weddings, galas, fundraisers, public markets and more! Pay is $12-$15/hr plus tips based on experience. $150 bonus after 6 months of employment (minimum of 3 shifts per month) $500 bonus after 18 months of employment

Event Coordinator

Full Time Event Coordinator $40,000 - $42,000 plus tips and retention bonuses of $500 @ 6 months and $1000 @ 18 months Garver Events, the operating company of Garver Feed Mill, is seeking a serious hospitality professional to fulfill the role of Event Coordinator for Garver Events. The coordinator position is expected to work a minimum of 32 hours per week and must be available Saturdays, though they will not be required to work every Saturday. Administrative work may be completed remotely. Full-time employees of Garver Events enjoy benefit options including health, vision, and dental insurance as well as paid vacation.

The Event Coordinator reports to all three department heads and therefore requires keen organizational and multi-tasking skills as well as a proactive attitude. A minimum of 2 years experience in the food and beverage industry is required. Supervisory experience is preferred as the Event Coordinator will manage event staff. Positivity and excellent interpersonal skills are essential as the coordinator will deal with various customer communications and may encounter high-stress situations. Proficiency in Google Suite required and an aptitude for learning new software is ideal.

- Respond to customer inquiries, give tours, and book events of various sizes for a variety of clients

- Work with the Business Manager to invoice customers

- Connect clients with the Food and Beverage Coordinator and equipment rental partner, Event Essentials, as needed

- Keep track of all aspects of event planning (food, bev, floor plan, timeline, AV, etc) and create detailed event notes for each event

- Respond to inquiries regarding public operations in the Garver Lounge and public events such as concerts, markets, and workshops

- Supervise and contribute to the execution of public and private events at Garver Feed Mill

- Ensure supplies and equipment are available for events

- Manage voicemail and calendars

- Ensure spaces are clean, safe, and properly signed

- Obtain a Bartending License

- Work closely with kitchen staff to ensure accurate menus and a smooth customer experience

- Other tasks as assigned by department heads

Kitchen Porter


Garver Events seeks an energetic Porter to maintain our kitchen- the heart of Garver Events and The Garver Lounge! This individual’s primary responsibility is to keep all the work areas in a kitchen clean throughout their shift. This includes sanitizing work stations throughout the day, maintaining kitchen equipment, cleaning cookware such as dishes, pots, and cutlery, and mopping or sweeping the kitchen floors to keep the area clean. Additional duties as assigned in our fast paced work environment. Pay starting at $14/hr.

Kitchen Staff


Garver Events seeks hard-working, motivated, and capable candidates to join our team in the Kitchen. Garver Events has a fast paced, fun & motivating culture, where initiative, reliability, and pro-activity are highly valued. We focus on local and sustainable food sources and change our menus to reflect that seasonally. The kitchen staff will ensure quality food service is provided at all times. This role will assist in a multi-faceted organization that provides everything from coursed private dinners, casual bar snacks, weekend brunch, and catering large and small custom events. This position will be initially expected to work 20-30 hours a week. Weekend availability is a plus. Potential growth to full-time for the right candidates comes with insurance benefits and paid time off. This position has an hourly salary of $17 hr plus tips depending on experience and availability.
